Samuel Zavala is at the forefront of specialty coffee in Nicaragua. He is a young and innovative coffee producer that has separated himself from the pack by creating his own post-harvest processing protocols, which have elevated his award-winning coffees to be well recognized on an international level.
Nestled in the northern region of Nicaragua lies the lush and vibrant coffee-growing region of Nueva Segovia, home to some of the highest altitudes in the country, with coffee farms ranging from 1200 to 1800 meters above sea level.
