Introduction into Espresso - Class

This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of pulling a tasty and well-balanced espresso shot.
This class will cover the theory of espresso extraction before moving into hands-on time of pulling, tasting and dialing in espresso. You will taste over, under, and properly extracted espresso. We will teach you the importance of grind size, dose, and shot-time. You will get to learn proper grind distribution and tamping technique for your espresso.
While the class will be fun and there will be plenty of laughter, it is professional and you will leave with the skills necessary to pull properly balanced shots.
This class is taught by the energetic and engaging Shehzadi Abdul, who finished Top 10 at the 2019 Canadian Barista Championships.

$90.00 per person. Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. You will also take home a bag of beans and will receive 10% off any equipment purchased in class.
